New Filmer!! and another blog as a side project??

Well the news is in Chris Fitzsimmons is the new official Moguls filmer i'm pretty stoked for the kid he is going to kill it!!!! Watch out for the Moguls full length team video next summer featuring Myself, Mat Fracassi, Mak Irwin, Noah Muise, Tyler 'O Grady, Bobby Jenkins, and Chris Fitzsimmons!

Also me and chris have taken it upon ourselves to do a little marketing work for the shop and create a blog site for them to post pictures, products, shop updates, team information and much more so watch out for that also!!!!!!!!!!

I went into Moguls In Mocean a few days ago and saw these wicked sunglasses that were baby blue and black, it turned out they were a josh kalis 9twoFive diamond collab so hype!!

Bag-O Tricks!!

What’s that off in the haze..... yeah that’s right Adam Button is off mobbing tre bombs (360 flips) for days!!! This is the second of many many Bag O-Tricks videos to hit this blog. So my buddy adam came home for a few days from school and showed up to the park to come skate, and chris remembered me saying that I needed another trick to put up on here so I suggested that he should go get a trick tip for adam because well this blog was created for all skaters to learn, discuss and just be as hyped on skateboarding as much as me and my buddies are, I wanted there to be a variety of different tricks from all of the skaters that I chill with so it was time for someone to go ahead and make another trick tip!

I hope everyone is stoked on it, there will be many more to come very soon because winter is just creeping up fast, but after snow falls then it is newmarket time so everyone should keep their eyes open for some crazy newmarket sessions.

D.O.P.E 2..... HYPE IT

I had to do a write up about this because as soon as I saw this article got show to me by my buddy Jacob I was really hyped on it and had to write up some hype for it!

The first Dope video was well dope and now it’s time for Dope II this video is the perfect mix of Whistler West Coast Canadian snowboarding and skateboarding, if this video is anything like the first Dope video then i’m not going to be disappointed at all... realistically who doesn’t want to see gnarly snowboarding and skateboarding mixed in with a ton of partying and hijinx.

The video features snowboarding from E-MAN ANDERSON, ALEX STATHIS, LAYNE TREETER and KAEL HILL, with skateboarding from my homie and Caledon/ Orangeville big dog Tyler “OG” Grady. The video drops this fall to all Step Chill , 32, LRG, Etnies, Ashbury and Neff dealers so everyone keep your eyes open this video is going to be some next level stuff.

A box a camera and some time to kill= warm up lines!!

So I was on my way home from school today and I figured I should really stop at the Bolton skate park tonight and skate there c ledge but it rained the night before so I was a little bit screwed out of that one and it literally was like watching paint dry waiting for that massive puddle to go away so I decided to pull out my camera and grab a line or two while I waited, I know the filming sucks but my buddy Chris wasn’t there and that kid has filming on lock down!! But I could only get two lines because my ankle is a bit messed up so I copped two lines and I will be uploading some more videos of the c ledge and just fun skating around the park so I hope everyone enjoys it.

The first line is back crook and then fakie back tail on the way back

The second line is nollie tail and then 180 switch 5-0 180

Just fun lines nothing serious just straight chilling!

A shoe review just for you!!!

Brandon Westgate Emericas!!

A few weeks ago I made the step away from my Reynolds Cruisers and decided it was about time to go and get myself a new pair of skate shoes because the cruisers being as great and they are were just destroyed from a good hard month of skateboarding and filming. So I went into MOGULS IN MOCEAN skateboard shop in Orangeville, Ontario and decided it was going to be time to try these shoes out and now three weeks to almost a month later all I have to say is wow Emerica has done it once again they have created another durable, cushioned shoe that can take all kinds of impact and one hell of a beating. The triple stitching and canvas soles act really well together because once you break through the hard layer of canvas and move onto the triple stitched toe the shoes canvas starts to mould to the toe creating an extra barrier of shoe protection which is great for me considering I love to skate ledges , manuals and flat ground. Second the Westgate is a really cushioned shoe and yeah I know all shoes have cushion to them when it comes to skating but these really take the money because these shoes just don’t get soft they stay nice and hard so that you can keep skating them hard! Realistically you can just tell this is Brandon Westgate’s pro model because that kid skates hard and skates very fast. All I can say is if you’re an avid Emerica fan and haven’t gotten a pair then I don’t know what’s wrong with you but you’re missing out and need to invest, and if you are someone who likes to skate fast and skate hard without getting heel bruises then these are perfect for you.

EMERICA HAS DONE IT AGAIN!

You got tricks?? i've got tricks want me to learns you??

So this is the first ever trick tip that I have ever actually done and I have just got it filmed and now posted it on the blog to share with all of the skateboarders on the internet looking for a good trick tip. This trick tip is a silent trick tip that doesn’t actually explain how to do the trick but I have filmed the trick numerous times from numerous angles so that you (the viewer) can see my footing, the speed that I’m going at and my all around basic technique. There will be many more posts coming up with many different tricks from flatland, rails, ledges, and manuals ranging from easy to harder tricks so that there is variety to what is being done for all levels of skaters. These videos will be done by me and other members of the OV Crew!!!

The video was filmed and edited by my buddy Chris Fitzsimmons and once again the kid has done it again and done a killer job, he took the time out to film this while we were filming for the OV Fall Slay Montage and editing different promo’s so big ups to Chris!

Dropping a line because its new video time!

New Deathwish Video!!!!!!!!

Wow it has been four long years since Baker has a Deathwish dropped onto the scene and it didn’t disappointed anyone, you had the smoothe thugged out style of Antwuan Dixon(who rides for Deathwish) to Bryan Herman just being for lack of a better word a complete machine with anything he skates(he rides for Baker) this collaboration video made a huge mark and skateboarding and I always hear my friends saying how they just watched this video again for the hundredth time in a row but what can I say if you put this video on in front of me I will be just as hyped as I was the first time.

Now it is time for the Deathwish crew to shine with their own full length video which will be full of hijinx and madness that Bakerboys is all about. The video will include parts from Erik Ellington, Jim Greco, Neen Williams, Antwuan Dixon, FURBY, Lizard King , Moose, Slash, and Dickson. Being a big fan of Shake Junt, Altamont, Deathwish, Baker, and Emerica I can see this video being hyped right out I’m pretty sure it will be to gangster and live up to its outspoken  expectations.

Ever since I started skateboarding when I was 14 I have skated numerous pairs of shoes from numerous companies, ES (rip) Lakai, Vans, Circa, Nike and of course Emericas. Up until a few years ago I found the shoe company that felt the best for me and that was Emerica , Since then i have skated 2 pairs of the Hsu's, 4 or 5 pairs of Reynolds 3's, a pair of Romero's, a pair of fat laced, a pair of Templeton's, a pair of Reynolds cruisers and finally Brandon Westgates's pro model shoe. These shoes are by far the comfiest for anything you skate be it sets , manuals ,benches or rails they have a great canvas feel that allows you to feel your board and every other little movement under your feet. All I can say to sum it up is Sole technology has done it again creating a comfortable and durable shoe that can be skated all day and chilled in all night. Im pretty stoked to see the full extent of the westgates. For anyone looking to go get new skate shoes I highly recommend any Emerica.

Have a brew video review

Wow so this is my very first post and I caught myself sitting here thinking what am I going to write about? I could easily write a nice hey how is everyone, this is what I do this is what I am about BLAH BLAH BLAH introduction that every other blog site does, or I could get write into business and write a blog. If it isn’t apparent what this site is about then well you need to read it over once again!!

So I have been watching Emerica Stay Gold alot lately and if you couldn’t guess from the first few lines that this is blog is going to be all about skateboarding then well you do now! But back to probably my favourite video of all time. Emerica Stay Gold what can I say to sum it up in a short sentence... well it never seems to disappoint me at all. This video is all around true Emerica skating, they go fast ,they get tech and they go big as hell from Brandon West Gates go fast San Francisco style to Jerry Hsu's all switch part and Andrew Reynolds massive ender this video is defiantly worth the watch... more than just once.
