So I came across this a long time ago in some youtube loop hole and came across the Antuwan Dixon Havoc tv interviews, no what really got me is that he is such a tight skateboarder and a chilling dude and it personally makes me pretty sad to see people struggle with there own head and get all faded because this dude has some serious skate skills to offer, I would never bag on him because this dude is so tight all I am saying is its sad to see when peoples personal issues get infront of there dreams and I hope one day he steps out of it and just keeps killing it like always! Plus im hyped as hell for his Deathwish part it is going to literally define perfection on a skateboard but anyways check these out!

Recycling has a new name and that is 2nd Shot!

ATTENTION EVERYONE THIS IS PURE HYPE!

So do you have any old skateboards laying around your room or garage that mom and dad are telling you to get rid of?... well i know i do haha Are they broken in half from skating mad handrails or you have just quit skateboarding and no one will buy them because they are to thrashed?

What would you say if you could take your old skateboards and get them reused and remade into jewelry, skate pendants belt buckles and many more things? I would say that is really hype and it would stoke me out. There is a revolution upon us that is bringing a new meaning to "going green" in the skateboard industry and that revolution is called 2nd Shot!

Second Shot is an Orangeville, Ontario based company that is buying back old skateboards from kids and creating merchandise out of them, this is a great thing to do because most skateboards probably end up in some landfill somewere and will never be seen again but now it is getting reused for the better!

The Apparel push

Some of the greatest things were created as small projects for school, for example look at 686 it was created as a small college project  because his teacher said do something that you are passionate about be happy and write a report on something you love and want to do. Well that really got me thinking when this project was given to me, I mean originally two months ago this was just a blog. It was a simple Humber College get a passing grade school project but now it has turned into more than that, it has really gotten the ideas going for me in my head and I think I am ready to take my marketing skills and start to put them to the test. It is time to see what the world of extreme sports of apparel is all about, Skater Days In a Haze is moving into the clothing business and will be arriving here by next summer. First we will start off with just simple stickers and shirts then we will move onto hats, hoodies, beanies , long sleeved sweaters and hopefully one days jackets and pants. The first catalogue will be on the blog site www.skaterdaysinahaze.blogspot.com but and on the facebook group page www.facebook.com/skaterdaysinahaze. The first collection line will be called the dream line and will indentify everything that has to do with the sky being the limit, it will be all bold colors and technical designs because all dreams that we have are never small and are all technical.

Everyone keep your eyes open, and once I post the comment box and all of the survey/suggestion boxes don’t refrain from posting something in there that will help this be successful to its fullest extent.

WTF?!?!?!?!?!

Well ever since I was like 14 I have always been stoked on thrash hardcore big rails hard slams go fast skateboard videos and skate teams, it all started with Foundation for me... I know that sounds weird because I'm a huge Emerica rat but Foundations That's Life started it all for me. As much as everyone hates on Corey Duffel the dude is rad but yeah I hate his style it really is just too hesh but regardless he is gnarly but anyways the team has been basically redone and there is only a few remaining original riders so now it is just a stacked team.

Now it is time to talk about the new and quiet Release of FOUNDATION WTF?!?! I look through all of the new skate magazines and am a little berrics cult follower it’s like a daily ritual it gets signed into before I hit up facebook so you know it is a big deal haha But as soon as i saw this ad I was standing in the shop I ride for and i was like man man did you know there was a new foundation video coming out and my skate manager was like no way man really and the premiere was that night! So as soon as I could get my hand on a copy of this video I had to watch it considering I had watched cataclysmic abyss atleast a thousand times in a row and it was to insane I knew this one would have alot of hype to stand up to. So I got my hands on a copy and it was insane this video is mind blowing everyone just goes so big and so hard and so fast and they are pure California lords of dog town hang out in the undergrounds skate punks.

Basically all I can say is pick up a copy and if your into fast hard skateboarding then this video is really for you and I know you won’t be disappointed. I recommend starting from That’s Life, Cataclysmic Abyss and then going to WTF!!

OH YEAH and by the end you will be like WTF!!!!!!!

It's Coming to an end....

Well skaters everywere, thats it thats all the jack frost and old man winter have decided to push there ways through the warm summer doors and sent the warm weather into a retreat for another few long months of hiberntaion! It is really depressing and we all don't want to get off of our boards but we have to, so all of you skate rats out there put on some moccasins grab your favourite beverage and moss out on youtube and watch some good old skate videos, But I think the first one you should all check out is the new video that just got created by my homie and Moguls In M' ocean filmer Chris Fitzsimmons!!! this video is by far the best one he has done yet he put so much time into it and damn does it ever show. There is skating from our local Orangeville Skatepark, Orangeville skate spots and finally the always good Ashbridges Bay in Toronto , Ontario. This video is full of raw skating and everything is just pure butter so I hope everyone enjoys it because we really tried to go out in style. There will be many more videos to come this winter from Newmarket Indoor skatepark and im sure it will just be pure progression so by next summer everyone will have stepped up to the plate huge. Bag-O Tricks!!

What’s that off in the haze..... yeah that’s right Adam Button is off mobbing tre bombs (360 flips) for days!!! This is the second of many many Bag O-Tricks videos to hit this blog. So my buddy adam came home for a few days from school and showed up to the park to come skate, and chris remembered me saying that I needed another trick to put up on here so I suggested that he should go get a trick tip for adam because well this blog was created for all skaters to learn, discuss and just be as hyped on skateboarding as much as me and my buddies are, I wanted there to be a variety of different tricks from all of the skaters that I chill with so it was time for someone to go ahead and make another trick tip!

I hope everyone is stoked on it, there will be many more to come very soon because winter is just creeping up fast, but after snow falls then it is newmarket time so everyone should keep their eyes open for some crazy newmarket sessions.

D.O.P.E 2..... HYPE IT

I had to do a write up about this because as soon as I saw this article got show to me by my buddy Jacob I was really hyped on it and had to write up some hype for it!

The first Dope video was well dope and now it’s time for Dope II this video is the perfect mix of Whistler West Coast Canadian snowboarding and skateboarding, if this video is anything like the first Dope video then i’m not going to be disappointed at all... realistically who doesn’t want to see gnarly snowboarding and skateboarding mixed in with a ton of partying and hijinx.

The video features snowboarding from E-MAN ANDERSON, ALEX STATHIS, LAYNE TREETER and KAEL HILL, with skateboarding from my homie and Caledon/ Orangeville big dog Tyler “OG” Grady. The video drops this fall to all Step Chill , 32, LRG, Etnies, Ashbury and Neff dealers so everyone keep your eyes open this video is going to be some next level stuff.

A box a camera and some time to kill= warm up lines!!

So I was on my way home from school today and I figured I should really stop at the Bolton skate park tonight and skate there c ledge but it rained the night before so I was a little bit screwed out of that one and it literally was like watching paint dry waiting for that massive puddle to go away so I decided to pull out my camera and grab a line or two while I waited, I know the filming sucks but my buddy Chris wasn’t there and that kid has filming on lock down!! But I could only get two lines because my ankle is a bit messed up so I copped two lines and I will be uploading some more videos of the c ledge and just fun skating around the park so I hope everyone enjoys it.

A shoe review just for you!!!

Brandon Westgate Emericas!!

A few weeks ago I made the step away from my Reynolds Cruisers and decided it was about time to go and get myself a new pair of skate shoes because the cruisers being as great and they are were just destroyed from a good hard month of skateboarding and filming. So I went into MOGULS IN MOCEAN skateboard shop in Orangeville, Ontario and decided it was going to be time to try these shoes out and now three weeks to almost a month later all I have to say is wow Emerica has done it once again they have created another durable, cushioned shoe that can take all kinds of impact and one hell of a beating. The triple stitching and canvas soles act really well together because once you break through the hard layer of canvas and move onto the triple stitched toe the shoes canvas starts to mould to the toe creating an extra barrier of shoe protection which is great for me considering I love to skate ledges , manuals and flat ground. Second the Westgate is a really cushioned shoe and yeah I know all shoes have cushion to them when it comes to skating but these really take the money because these shoes just don’t get soft they stay nice and hard so that you can keep skating them hard! Realistically you can just tell this is Brandon Westgate’s pro model because that kid skates hard and skates very fast. All I can say is if you’re an avid Emerica fan and haven’t gotten a pair then I don’t know what’s wrong with you but you’re missing out and need to invest, and if you are someone who likes to skate fast and skate hard without getting heel bruises then these are perfect for you.

EMERICA HAS DONE IT AGAIN!

You got tricks?? i've got tricks want me to learns you??

So this is the first ever trick tip that I have ever actually done and I have just got it filmed and now posted it on the blog to share with all of the skateboarders on the internet looking for a good trick tip. This trick tip is a silent trick tip that doesn’t actually explain how to do the trick but I have filmed the trick numerous times from numerous angles so that you (the viewer) can see my footing, the speed that I’m going at and my all around basic technique. There will be many more posts coming up with many different tricks from flatland, rails, ledges, and manuals ranging from easy to harder tricks so that there is variety to what is being done for all levels of skaters. These videos will be done by me and other members of the OV Crew!!!

Dropping a line because its new video time!

New Deathwish Video!!!!!!!!

Wow it has been four long years since Baker has a Deathwish dropped onto the scene and it didn’t disappointed anyone, you had the smoothe thugged out style of Antwuan Dixon(who rides for Deathwish) to Bryan Herman just being for lack of a better word a complete machine with anything he skates(he rides for Baker) this collaboration video made a huge mark and skateboarding and I always hear my friends saying how they just watched this video again for the hundredth time in a row but what can I say if you put this video on in front of me I will be just as hyped as I was the first time.

Now it is time for the Deathwish crew to shine with their own full length video which will be full of hijinx and madness that Bakerboys is all about. The video will include parts from Erik Ellington, Jim Greco, Neen Williams, Antwuan Dixon, FURBY, Lizard King , Moose, Slash, and Dickson. Being a big fan of Shake Junt, Altamont, Deathwish, Baker, and Emerica I can see this video being hyped right out I’m pretty sure it will be to gangster and live up to its outspoken  expectations.

The video drops next year Stay Buck and get hyped on the Deathwish lifestyle!!!
